I wanted to write to you today and tell you how excited your daddy and I are to meet you - so very soon! You will most likely be born sometime in the next 6 to 8 weeks and our lives will change forever from that moment.
I have thought for a long time what it will be like to be a mommy and the only conclusion I can come up with is that I really have no clue. I am just looking forward to embracing every moment that I spend with you and seeing what you can teach me about life. I already know that nothing in this world is more important to me than you are and I haven't even met you yet. I would do anything to keep you safe, happy and nurtured.
You already have a furry brother and sister waiting to meet you, as well as a loving extended family including many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I feel content knowing that your dad and I are bringing you into a very loving environment where you will get to have so many fun experiences. You are a very lucky little girl and we are even luckier to be able to watch you as you grow!
Some things your daddy and I are excited to do with you include:
- taking you to Twins and Gophers games - we have already collected some adorable clothing for you to wear so we can show you off as we teach you about sports from an early age
- going for walks with you and introducing you to your neighborhood
- taking you to the dog park to watch your big sister Karma play with her doggie friends
- taking you out to eat at some of our favorite restaurants
Your daddy and I think about you constantly every day and can't wait to hold you in our arms. It will be the best day of our lives, getting to meet you! Take good care in there for the next several weeks. We want to see you all big and healthy when you join us. We love you very, very much.
